THE BAND
Hailing from Lille, in the cold and rainy northern France, Bare Teeth is a band that doesn’t care much about labelling its music. Of course, they sound like a punk rock and hardcore blend, and claim inflence from bands such as A Wilhelm Scream and Propagandhi. However, the four members also bring some thrash metal riffs into the mix and don’t repudiate some typically pop melodies, coming from their respective backgrounds in different projects (Fast Motion, Holispark, Alabasterds…).
After a 3-track demo in 2015, Bare Teeth has released its debut EP “First The Town, Then The World“, mixed by Trevor Reilly (A Wilhelm Scream – USA) and featuring guest vocals by Steve Rawles (Belvedere, This Is A Standoff – Canada) in May 2017. Since then, the band has played over 100 shows, successfully touring Europe (France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, the UK, Italy, Czech Republic) and Asia (Japan, China, Taiwan). Bare Teeth also had the opportunity to open for some well-known acts (A Wilhelm Scream, Belvedere, Satanic Surfers, Authority Zero, SNFU, Tagada Jones, Such Gold, Clowns), either on local stages or in faraway lands. The band unveiled 3 new songs on the “Bridging Oceans” split which came out in April 2019, alongside Down Memory Lane (Canada), Nerdlinger (Australia), and Shames (Japan), and is now working actively on its first full-length album. The town has already been conquered, let’s have the world!
ARTISTS
BAND MEMBERS
.
Greg Legarand
Bass + vocals.
Greg Legarand
Greg founded Bare Teeth with Titouan back in 2014. He used to play the guitar and sings most of the band’s songs, but as switched to bass. When he is not on stage performing, he is probably driving the van or looting some food backstage. CLICK FOR MOREHe was once announced as “Gregory Legend” for an acoustic performance in Japan. We still don’t know if he’s a real legend there or if it’s just some kind of weird typical Japanese mistake with his full name. What’s even weirder is that nobody calls him “Gregory”, except his mom when he doesn’t behave well. Mom is always right, even when her offspring is 40 and over. This implies he can fall asleep anywhere anytime right after a show.
Greg is the eldest member and always has some cool tour stories to tell or knows someone in a city we have never played before. He is a die-hard Bad Religion fan, but doesn’t even own a t-shirt from them, as well as A Wilhelm Scream (3 t-shirts), Propagandhi (0 t-shirt), Suicidal Tendencies (1 tanktop) and Municipal Waste (1 t-shirt).

Titouan Andritsos
Guitar + vocals.

After spending his blunder years in several places, from the Alps to Manchester, Titouan (Tit for short, which always gets a laugh for some reason) settled in Lille in 2014, where his meeting with Greg ended up giving birth to Bare Teeth, for better or for worse. CLICK FOR MOREA machinegunner of a guitar player, crafting and playing intricate riffs at the speed of light, Tit is otherwise often found in deep introspection – mostly if there’s a mirror around. Such a mesmerizing beauty had to come with a price.
When he’s not defying gravity, on stage or on a skateboard (both at the same time was never attempted – yet), Tit can be found teaching French to foreigners, carefully scrutinizing a pub’s range of alcoholic beverages, or headbanging to his favourite bands, like Everytime I Die, Violent Soho, or Wavves. Aside from Bare Teeth, he also pushes his six strings to their limit with November, and his vocal cords with Random Sitcom.

Jérôme Molenda
Drums.
.
The man. The machine. The legend. Don't get abused by his poker face when he drums, he is the real party maker as long as he gets fueled with Polish vodka. CLICK FOR MOREHe also gets upset when people compliment him for drumming “fast”. Not “great”, not “good”, just “fast”. Next songs will be 255 BPM. Deal with it, Jérôme!
ALUMNI
.
Tom Panier
Bass + vocals.
.
Tom (well, his friends call him “Tomé”) plays the bass, even though he used to almost exclusively play the guitar before joining Bare Teeth. Three guitars would have been overkill, I mean, one Iron Maiden is already too much, isn’t it? CLICK FOR MOREHe also sings a fair bit, and likes his punk rock to be clean and technical, which is like looking for uncorrupted politicians. Speaking of politics, Tomé is probably the most involved. Yep, he’s got some strong views, even though that mostly just means complaining at the pub with a bunch of random dudes.
You may have never heard of Bare Teeth before, but you probably know some of the bands that Tomé is playing on repeat, such as A Wilhelm Scream, Qualia and the Five Ancestors of the Great Maryland Kingdom, or Adrenalized. He also releases music on his own under the name Ubik.
.
Roch Deroubaix
Drums.
.
That’s our man behind the drums, he’s solid as a rock just like his (actual) name says. Roch joined the adventure in 2018 and his third show with Bare Teeth was at a stadium in China, needless to say he never left the band after that. CLICK FOR MOREHe never misses a beat either and likes to show us his c*ck, especially on tour. Paradoxically, he usually doesn’t “rock out with his cock out” and prefers to have a glass of water and a good night of sleep after the shows, hence his surname PARTY HARD. Failure is not his thing, some would even say he suffers from kakorrhaphiophobia.
What’s an acoustic version of a Mötley Crüe song by the singer of Paramore ? Roch’s wettest dream for sure. You guessed it, some of his major influences are Halfnoise, Hayley Williams, and Tommy Lee.
